Are you interested in applying for the Arkansas Community Colleges 2022 Academic All-Star Scholarship?
Each year, South Arkansas Community College and Arkansas Community Colleges present the Arkansas Two-Year Colleges Academic All-Star scholarship program. One student is selected to represent SouthArk each year.
The Academic All-Star program is designed to recognize excellence in academics and leadership, and who have demonstrated superior service to our college and the community.
SouthArk’s Academic All-Star receives a $500 scholarship for his/her final semester attending SouthArk. The scholarship is contingent upon the student meeting the minimum eligibility requirements that are listed below. The recipient is recognized at the annual Arkansas Community Colleges Conference.
Do you meet the following criteria?
- Arkansas resident
- Enrolled at SouthArk and expected to continue enrollment through at least Fall of 2022.
- Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours in pursuit of an associate degree by June 1, 2022.
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25.
- Demonstrated involvement in campus and/or community activities.
- Intend to graduate from SouthArk with an associate degree.
The recipient is selected on the basis of
academic achievement, leadership, community service, honors, and activities.
