About Us
It is the goal of the Academic Support Department to provide the South Ark faculty and students with the tools, knowledge, and support necessary for a high-quality teaching and learning environment.
Our role is to evaluate new technologies for hybrid and online learning, while also providing training and support for the use of those technologies.
We want to ensure our faculty are able to teach their content whether in-person, online, or hybrid in a manner that maximizes student learning.
We also want to support our students as they strive to succeed in whatever academic areas they choose. We believe the focus of South Arkansas Community College is to be a leading learning organization in our region and help all of our students become STARS!
