South Arkansas Community College is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time adjunct faculty member as the program director/instructor of the Phlebotomy program.
Responsibilities: The selected applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the phlebotomy program, including the administration, assessment, implementation, instruction, and evaluation of the program, as well as maintenance of accreditation with NAACLS.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include the following:
1. Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree.
2. Hold ASCP‐BOC or ASCPi-BOC certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or holds certification in phlebotomy from an applicable recognized certification agency.
3. Highly preferred to have experience in teaching, especially in the Phlebotomy field.
4. Have knowledge of educational methods and administration as well as current phlebotomy approval and certification procedures.
Chosen Candidate must submit all official transcripts, certifications and/or licensures, successfully complete a criminal background check, and complete all required New Hire paperwork prior to stating to work.
