Skills Prep

Students enroll in Adult Education classes to improve their basic skills needed to earn their Arkansas High School Diploma or improve ACCUPLACER® scores. Students receive instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies to improve their TABE scores prior to taking the official GED® tests.  The Adult Education programs uses a blended learning model of in-class instruction and online teaching software to increase learning opportunities.  Therefore, students are able to work from home and earn their diploma much faster.
GED® preparation is free to students.  The only cost towards earning the diploma is $16.00 for the official test.  Scholarships are available, so many students have zero cost.  A college scholarship is also available for qualifying graduates.

Adult Education Class Schedules
Classes are available in person Monday through Thursday, online, or as a combination of the two with our HyFlex model. Students will speak to their advisor prior to the start of coursework to determine the class schedule that best fits with their schedules.
