Official Rules

1. The contest is open to anyone to enter. SouthArk employees are not eligible to win prizes.

2. Videos must be the original creative property of the contestants and must be 15 seconds in length. Videos that are longer or shorter will not be considered for prizes.

3. Please use appropriate discretion when entering—it’s supposed to be scary, but also fun! While any horror or horror/comedy subject is acceptable, we reserve the right to eliminate any video from consideration based on content.

4. Submit entries by uploading to Instagram and tagging South Arkansas Community College @southarkcc, along with the hashtag #15SecondsofHorror. Any video that does not include both of these tags is not considered to have been entered officially and cannot win. Voting may begin as soon as the video has been entered into the contest.  Enter as many videos as you like! There is no maximum number of videos that can be entered.

5. The contest is open through noon on Oct. 31, 2018 (Halloween). Winners will be announced and notified that afternoon.

6. The video that receives the most Likes will receive the top prize, a package that includes:

•GoPro camera
•Google Home Mini
•Blue iCE microphone
•SouthArk sweatshirt
•Universal Horror Movie DVD collection
•SouthArk USB drive

The video that receives the second most Likes will receive:

•Google Home mini
•SouthArk sweatshirt
•SouthArk USB drive

The video that receives the third most Likes will receive:

•SouthArk sweatshirt
•SouthArk USB drive

7. Entry into this contest grants SouthArk permission to show your video(s) at our film festival on Nov. 2, as well as in other promotion and publicity for the college and its entertainment and media arts program.
