Academic Skills Prep

Students enroll in Adult Education classes to improve their basic skills needed to earn their Arkansas High School Diploma or improve ACCUPLACER® scores. Students receive instruction in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies prior to taking the official GED® tests.  The Adult Education program uses a blended learning model of in-class instruction and online teaching software to increase learning opportunities.  Therefore, students are able to work from home and earn their diploma much faster.

GED® preparation is free to students.  The only cost towards earning the diploma is $16.00 for the official test.  Scholarships are available, so many students have zero cost.  A college scholarship is also available for qualifying graduates. Click below to learn more.
