Madison is a very hard worker. She carries a full load at the High School from 8am to noon, then comes to our college to carry a full load with the nursing program. She goes above and beyond to achieve her goals. She is very driven and shows the qualities to make an excellent nurse. She intends to complete the LPN Program and this fall will continue her education to be an RN.

Student Future Professional Plans/Goals: As a current student nurse, my short-term goal is to successfully complete my nursing education and secure a position in the ICU, where I can develop critical care and surgical nursing skills. In the next 3–4 years, my long-term goal is to pursue and complete the CRNA program, specializing in anesthesia while continuing to expand my expertise in anesthesia. Starla arrives at class prepared—with her notebook, calculator, handout, and focus. Timid at first, Starla has now taken on a leadership role among her peers.
