Class Description
In the first phase of training, participants will learn skills in math, English, reading, writing, locating information, problem solving, and team interaction. Punctuality, attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail will also be evaluated. During the hands-on, second phase, selected participants will learn important safety and operations skills specific to the chemical production sector.
Length of Class
Phase I: 6 weeks, two nights per week (Tu/Th) for 1 ½ hours, 6:30 –8:00
Phase II: 10 weeks, two nights per week (Tu/Th) for 3 hours, 6:00 to 9:00
Entry Level Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Participants must exhibit strong and consistent lifestyle management skills, be highly motivated to learn, innovate, and work in teams.
