Community Scholarships
The O.B. Clark Memorial Scholarship
- Award
- Amount of scholarship determined annually
- Eligibility
- First-time entering students
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Graduate of a Union County high school
- Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours each semester
- Renewal/Retention
- Must have completed at least 9 credit hours
- Minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st semester
- Must have completed at least 24 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 2nd semester
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 3rd semester
The Albert W. Loftin Scholarship
- Award
- Half Tuition Scholarship
- Eligibility
- First-time entering freshmen
- Graduate of a Union County high school
- Must be recommended by high school counselor based on academic achievement, the potential for future academic promise, and citizenship
- Must have a 2.5 GPA
- Must enroll in at least 12 credit hours each semester
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor
- Renewal/Retention
- Must have completed at least 9 credit hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA at the end of the 1st semester
- Must have completed at least 24 credit hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of the 2nd semester
- Must have completed at least 36 credit hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of the 3rd semester
Kimberly Wood Memorial Nursing Scholarship

- Eligibility
- Current Practical Nursing student at South Arkansas Community College
- Renewal/Retention
- Awarded once each year
